Within the immediate area there is a limited bus service, cafe, community shop, garage and inn (Aston on Clun) the Mid Wales Line runs through Broome (approximately 1 mile away) with a request stop train station.
Within 4 miles there is a slightly larger train station, bank, shops, super market, cafes and takeaways also Shropshire Hills Discovery Center at Craven Arms the gateway to the Shropshire Hills.
